GALBOX system halls are made of Galver cold-formed sections

SYSTEM HALLS ARE SIMPLE AND MODERN SOLUTIONS.

The GALBOX system is an innovative construction solution for the construction of steel, year-round, single- or gable halls. It is manufactured in the Gdańsk factory of the Polish manufacturer - Constraco. GALBOX is a system proven by Hugehalls. It is a good option for investors looking for a simple solution that guarantees the production and assembly of the hall in a short time and at an affordable price.

GALBOX is made of thin-walled Galver profiles from the same manufacturer. Galvers are made of steel strips coated with a zinc or Magnelis coating layer. Cold-formed (cold-rolled) sections (profiles) from Galver are an excellent quality product, constituting an attractive alternative to hot-rolled profiles.

The main application of the GALBOX structure is industrial halls. However, it is worth knowing that GALBOX works perfectly as a supporting structure for objects such as:

  • catering and service pavilions,
  • warehouses,
  • shopping halls,
  • freezers, cold rooms,
  • garages, car washes and workshops of various sizes,
  • as well as facilities for agriculture.

The manufacturer especially encourages using structures made of Magnelis sheets, with a 25-year warranty on coatings. The undoubted advantages of Magnelis coatings include the self-regeneration effect, providing excellent edge protection. Structures made of Magnelis sheets are recommended in difficult weather conditions because they have excellent corrosion resistance. However, a structure made of this material has only a slightly higher price than a galvanised sheet metal structure. It is worth using even in less demanding conditions.

What more can be said about the quality of GALBOXes?

GALBOX structures are manufactured under constant product quality control. The GALBOX prototype was subjected to destructive tests to confirm the calculations of the strength and load-bearing capacity of the created structural system. The design and research stage took place with the participation of scientists from the Gdańsk University of Technology. Today, the qualitative production process is:

  • Design based on state-of-the-art computational programs,
  • Production from the highest quality materials,
  • Constant quality control of production and prefabrication.

The GALBOX structure arrives at the pre-assembled construction site, significantly reducing assembly costs. The foundation of the GALBOX structure is simple and does not require specialised equipment. The structure does not require welding, painting or grinding. It is connected by screwing according to the precise assembly instructions provided by the manufacturer.

GALBOX is attached to foundations using glued anchors or embedded anchors.

The most common hall equipment includes: gates (sliding or sectional, manual or electric), doors, windows, roof lights (ridge or slope), wall lights (side or gable), gravitational or mechanical ventilation and gutters.

In the case of the GALBOX structure, we use a covering made of trapezoidal sheet metal or sandwich panels.

ADVANTAGES

Advantages of the GALBOX system hall:

  • Designed based on EUROKOD European standards
  • Meets rigorous safety standards - CE certificate - quality standard 1090-3
  • High quality of production – based on the ISO 9001 system
  • Aesthetics and durability of the structure – coatings protected in the steelworks
  • Low assembly cost - quick and easy assembly thanks to the preliminary assembly of the hall during transport.
  • Bolts instead of welding
  • Wide design possibilities
  • Guarantee of long-term safety of use
  • Attractive price compared to traditional steel hall
