A warehouse with a technical construction similar to a tent hall is a good alternative to traditional buildings in terms of price and functionality. As a temporary building, it does not require planning permission, which means that if additional storage space is urgently required, it can be invested in immediately for year-round use. The lightweight and durable construction with gable roof, made with innovative aluminum profiles, is easy to assemble and disassemble. An aluminum tent hall can be used in normal weather conditions if there is no increased snowfall. The structure is designed in accordance with current building standards, which guarantees durability, safety and versatility of use. Aluminum halls do not require solid foundations and their functionality meets all the requirements placed on modern, year-round storage halls. The aluminum halls offered by HugeHalls are perfectly suited as temporary, shade, event, sports or production halls and can be used all year round.
To increase safety in use, aluminum halls are anchored directly to the ground with pins. Hardened surfaces such as gravel, concrete blocks or asphalt are suitable. Appropriate design and construction without additional internal supports enables fully accessible storage space, as in conventional warehouse buildings.
The most popular and cost-effective way of manufacturing a warehouse tent is with fireproof PVC with a thickness of 650 g/m², with fire protection certificate, or optionally - OPAK 800 g/m² (sunproof material), which ensures the protection of goods stored in the warehouse for several years. A significant advantage of these materials is the easy and inexpensive repair and, in the case of PVC with a thickness of 650 g/m², the light transmission, as this contributes significantly to energy savings during the day.
The walls can also be made of trapezoidal sheets or sandwich panels, which reinforces the structure and increases thermal insulation. In the case of walls made of sandwich panels, the roof covering is always made of PVC, in accordance with the legal regulations and the applicable construction rules. The thermal insulation of the roof of storage tents can then be increased by using a heat pump or appropriate insulation. Aluminum halls can be equipped with gates (sliding or sectional, manual or electric), doors, windows, skylights (ridge or pitched), wall windows (side or gable), gravity or mechanical ventilation and gutters.
The price of a temporary hall, based on an aluminum construction, is
up to 25 % of the cost of erecting a conventional industrial hall.
